Humanitarian

Service is not a season. It is a posture.

For over a decade, Jalal has served as a Director on the Board of The Mainstay Foundation, a sustained commitment to education, innovation, and leadership development.

The Mainstay Foundation

Since 2012

13+ years on the board of The Mainstay Foundation.

The board work runs in parallel with everything else, the law practice, the classroom, the speaking. The conviction is the same: that thought disconnected from suffering is not yet thought, and that institutions are the long arc through which individual commitment becomes durable change.

The Foundation's focus on education, innovation, and leadership reflects a belief that the most enduring humanitarian work is the kind that builds capacity in the next generation.
